It's been long since I've posted, so yup here it is again :D

School's fine, and we have gotten our test papers back. I'm pleased but at the same time, disappointed. Oh well, on the bright side, most of the tests are over (except for 3 more next week :/)

We have been practicing really hard for syf and we are determined to get the Gold, even better, Gold w. Honours! We have about 1 more month to practice and this is our last lap, jia you SMSB!

Sports Day is on next Thursday and it'll be at Clementi Stadium heee. It's pretty far from my house so I have to get up early :D I'll be out in the sun as I will be helping out, hahahaha apply sunblock lotion 8) After that week, it will be the long awaited March Hols. Yessss I've been waiting for this holiday for the longest time hahah and there will be band exchanges! Quite excited for it as this will be my 1st time attending.

There will be Masters Class tomorrow, I'll try to update regularly yeah.

YESSSS the week's finally over. We'll still be having another A Math and not forgetting, Chinese tests next week too, but it's time to relax a bit yeah (:

I was quite shocked for English, as in the topic. I didn't really know what to write about (oh well there goes my pass) so I wrote a very standard essay gah. HMT was o_o it was all about the cheng yu and I could not remember much.

Next was E Math. Wow this is the only one which I am hoping for a good grade. I had quite a breeze doing the paper and I did the whole paper again so as to double check my answers. I thought that the given time was rather long.

Social Studies was done similarly notwelldone. I struggled much for SBQ and for a moment, I blanked out at the SEQ. It was my very first SS test.

We had the Bio paper today and I am v. v disappointed with myself. I had to blame myself for not studying even harder and focus on the main points of the questions :/

Happy Belated Birthday Eunice!
Finally 15 yeah!

Jingwen, Yi Li, Abigail, Eunice and Eunice Tang went to Thomson Plaza after band today, Yvonne joined us later and we had a fun fun fun time celebrating her birthday.

Jw and Abigail had to visit the washroom, but they went to buy the cake for Eunice. Yi Li joined them aft that. We all left Subway and when we passed Hans, the lady passed the cake to Yvonne, thinking that she was the birthday girl hahaa that part was hilarious, and then Eunice took the cake hee (:

Stood in the middle of the mall while watching Eunice eating the cake. This was not over yet. Yi Li and Abigail went over to buy the bear for her, while we walked to Popular to not let Eunice see them. While trying to put the bear inside her bag, we even distracted her asking "wowww you got new bag ah?" hahaha etc. We had a hard time stuffing all the things back, and she found it in the end. Had a great time with all of them!

It's been long since I posted, so yup. I've been having tests last and this week, while there will be an upcoming Chemistry test :/ Never in my entire secondary school life I've been so so worried for Geography test and it was only on a chapter LOL. Bio test is okay, but I'm a tad bit disappointed though.

SYF soundcheck is on this Sunday and I'm pretty worried yet excited for it. I do want to feel how it will be like during the actual syf and I'm anticipating for it :D

Time passes really quickly and it will soon be the end of week 3. I've been a Sec 3 for about three weeks and I could really feel the stress now. The amount of homework we get is already an example of the difference between lower secondary and upper secondary. We get homework everyday, and also the amount of things we will be learning. It will be much more in dept, and difficult. gahhh.

Chinese New Year is on the 26th Jan, which is this coming Monday. We're going to have a long weekend, but we are also given many, many homework :/ haha I'm not done with the buying of new year clothes. It will not be a half day tomorrow and there's prefect's induction after the celebration. Grandpa will be back tomorrow and I'm looking forward to the reunion dinner (:

I've been really clumsy these few days: got a brown (??) bruise on my left knee, cuts on legs and got a knock on my head hahaha. pretty weird eh.

Band was fine today, oh we've got new reeds last week yayyy!! :D We did many practicals this week, we used the microscope to observe cheek cells, onion and hydrilla cells; and for chem, it was on measurement so we did an experiment where we tried to use the pipette (: Learnt more about SPA and Sec 3 life is really different from lower secondary's.

Sec 3 DOT Connection 'BOND' Camp 2009 was really awesome. We laughed a lot, but also cried pretty much. I will miss everything about this camp.

3E5 Group 10 was pretty shy on the first day and we didn't talk much to our trainer, Ace, but we were really bonded and there were laughter everywhere we went. Before going to Sarimbun (gosh I miss that place), I thought this camp would be a physically and mentally-drained one, and a camp where you will get sore legs and back aches, but it was indeed a life changing camp. I wouldn't mind going back there, wouldn't mind all the smelly (and bad) toilets, wouldn't mind all the activities, wouldn't mind sleeping on wooden planks and tents, and I wouldn't mind going for this camp again. Really.

My group had really opened a lot after the 1st day and we were so bonded after that. I had many fun times and we definitely enjoyed ourselves there. We were really open to our trainer Ace and we laughed a lot, and of course, talked a whole lot too!

We did many activities, such as the Challenge Valley where we had to go down to the Milo Pond, High and Low Elements, Group activities, General Stations, going to Sungei Buloh and the Great Sarimbun Challenge. I did many things which I thought I would not have done it and I've kissed a frog. It was rather disgusting but it's a good experience :D

gah, whenever I think about the camp, I just feel nostalgic and wanna go back there again.

During campfire, I could not control myself when the trainers started their performance and when they were showing the pictures on the slideshow, I cried and tears kept flowing. I have not miss any camp so much than I miss this Sec 3 camp :/

At night, on the campfire day, we had a great talk with Ace, and we just laughed till late midnight. We had a wonderful time with her and will definitely miss her and the other trainers ):

On the last day, I had swollen and puffy eyes due to the crying and I had to control my emotions again. It was difficult as we all knew that we had to leave today and we may not meet any trainers in the future. Ace and Asyraf spoke to us, telling us how they enjoyed this camp so much and at that moment, we all just let it out and teared. We were emotional and could tell that everyone in this class will miss the camp. Asyraf cried pretty badly too (so did I) and we all took a class photo with them and went back to MPH.

The trainers once again sang a farewell song and I cried again gahhh. We were reluctant to leave the campsite and upon going out, I turned back and took a good look of the Sarimbun campsite. Nostalgic. Cried a little more on the bus when we bade goodbye to Asyraf while Ace was still with us, the journey back to school. We've reached school, had debrief and final cheer. At that moment, I realised that camp was really over and there's nothing we could do to go back to the time where we just reached Sarimbun.

Thank you, 3E5, especially Marilyn, Mun Shuen, Edrea, Cheryl, Shi Ying, Amelia, Sonia, Ariel, Hannah, Priya, Nainika, Jaishree, and Xin Yi. Thank you all the trainers, thank you Ace and Asyraf, you guys are great trainers and we'll miss you.

Jingwen, Yi Li and I went to send Mr Tan off this morning, and we reached Terminal 3 at 11.45pm. haha, it was pretty cool to stay at the airport in the middle of the night. We sat at Macdonalds and waited till 4 plus before heading back to the departure hall (yeah we slept there)

There were also many students from other schools came down to send him off. Mr Tan's childrens are really cute! We waited till the first train and went home.

Sec 3s will be going to Sarimbun Campsite for a 5D4N camp tomorrow, so will update more after it (:

It's 2.39am but I still wanna blog about this.

Firstly, Happy New Year! Hope you guys had a wonderful time today yeah :D

It has been a year full with ups and downs (recession!). I had many surprises and some of which were pleasant, and it was also a year with many farewells. I would say it is not a great year but it was definitely a year I will remember.

Year 2009 is sure to be a hectic year, with the SYF Central Judging and 'O' Level Chinese Papers. It is also a good thing because it will keep me busy and not to be distracted.

Resolution:

1. Stop eating so much and start exercising :/
2. Be more focus
3. Study hard

I went for CG this morning and met Wan Yu, Germaine, Belinda, Jie Yang, Joel and Clive. It has been a long time and it was really great to spent my New Year's Eve afternoon with them. They are great and I'm really happy to have them as friends.

Ate my first Chili Cheese Dog at Super Dog and I would say that it's pretty delicious (to me), played at the arcade and watched Yes Man. That was my last afternoon in the year 2008 and I certainly had a great time.

Jw came after that and we sat this ship thing outside Vivo and it was absolutely fun! It's some stimulator thing and it shows you how the life on the yatch (while having competition) is real extreme and of course, tough. It got quite dizzy at first but I enjoyed the ride.

We watched Twilight (yes again, the 3rd time) and stayed for the countdown.

Everywhere was v. v crowded, they even had to queue to use the escalator and lifts. We were moving inside the life and we were packed like sardines and I'm not kidding. Everybody got pretty high when they started to countdown and it was already 2009.

We had a farewell party for Mr Tan and we are glad that it went smoothly (: Many alumni and seniors came back, we played Stand By Me and Nostalgia while the alumni band played Colours of the Wind, That Thing You Do, and Amazing Grace.

I could feel my tears welling up when I played Nostalgia. Although Mr Tan has only taught the sec 2 (batch '08) for a year, he has indeed taught us many things we do not usually learn in class, cracked many funny (and cold) jokes, who brought much laughter to band, and he is also the one who inspired me to learn more about music.

We went to Performing Arts Studio to watch the video by the alumni and it was of the 9 years Mr Tan had spend in St. Margs. We had also presented his Wikipedia page and we are really happy that we had this opportunity to create this page for him! :D

However, he will be leaving this Sunday and we'll miss him. All the best for your studies Mr Tan!

Met Alicia, Sze Yue, Melissa, Shumian, Charmaine with Jing Wen to do the scrapbook for Mr. Tan. hahaha we ate there, drank coffee and made quite a mess there, didn't manage to do much and we will be going back on the 26th again. the materials for the book is really pretty but v. v expensive. we also listened to the recordings of the pieces we played in Polka! IV. great time chatting and laughing (plus taking pictures too)! 8)

Just went to mum's friend's house for Christmas Party, had pretty much fun and ate lots of meat. whooooa, for this holiday season (or the whole of nov/dec holiday) we've been eating loads of food, can't resist.

Went over to Daddy's friend's house last Saturday as there was a birthday party for his granddaughter and it was really nice of them to order buffet from the Tavern. They serve western food and it's absolutely tasty (very expensive too) hahaha.

So KL was pretty much fun, with all the shopping and walking round KLCC for 3 out of 4 days hahaha.

1st day: We all woke up early as the cab would be here at 6.30am, and MaxiCab is awesome great seats yeah!! Reached Harbourfront Centre as we would be taking a coach there and I would say that that trip there and back was the most memorable bus trips I've had. They had great food (yeah good for a bus service) and comfy chairs, it was pretty different from the previous I've sat and the trip was a breeze.

We arrived at Corus Hotel, the hotel we stayed for 4 days and it was lunch then shopping time. hahaa it's been four years since I've been to Malaysia and it's a whole new experience there again. we went on walking rounds and rounds in the mall, in Isetan and whooaaaa the place is huge. met up with daddy's friend for dinner at the restaurant near Times Square and their lean meat is very fatty and very good and not very lean at all. what a day to end off with great chinese food (:

2nd day: basically our trip was to shop, eat and sleep. hahaha so we spent our day again in klcc and we couldn't stop walking. I remembered the time when jw and I had to dress up as butterfly/insect for a christmas event there, ah good old times. so yeah, shop!

3rd day: Went to Sungei Wang/ Bukit Bintang for a walk and met up with our relatives. had lunch with them at the noodles house (we ate there with them at the same place 4 years ago too) and we got a chance to visit my granduncle's office. he has branches in overseas and has one in KL too. pretty amazing to see them work haha. Midvalley Megamall to shop and also, watch Twilight hahaha. I had not read the book at that time so I felt the movie was pretty great, I wanna catch it again :D

4th day: did last minute shopping in klcc again and we've packed up and got ready to leave Malaysia for Singapore. the trip back was great (again) and watched Just My Luck on board. hahaaa.

Greetings from Singapore, I'm back.

well I'll post more about KL later, here's on our trip to Pitstop Cafe with Double Reeds (:

Cafe Cartel's baked macaroni is still the bombxzz, the cheesy and creamy sauce whoooohooo. Walked to Pitstop Cafe which is located at Circular Rd and it's on the 2nd level. Pretty cosy and the games are very fun. hahaha, played games such as Ugly Doll, Snorta, Quelf, Spy Alley etc.

HEEHAW! (haha) had much fun laughing and drinking lemonade. smacking and pressing the bell which is faulty. Pitstop's great.

Last Tuesday was our final practice with Mr. Tan. We went through our set piece and reminded us what to work on, and revised with us the importance of PEAR. hahaha, took our bocal out and blew a note, hahaha the part when he said about our reeds was pretty funny (:

Nostalgia, gah. I can still remember the day when we Sec 2s step into the band room, together with the Main Band, and we all worked and sight-read some pieces, Fantasia!! We will definitely miss him.

Really, Thank You for the Music.

Faith, Hope and Love II ended yesterday, and it was absolutely amazing. Our performance was great, especially Jericho. The feel was there, emotions were there, everything was there. It was beautiful.

I could feel my tears welling up during Victory, but I had to control. The last chord of Spirit of Christmas, which was also our last chord conducted by Mr. Tan, was good. It was a great performance, truly a wonderful performance to remember.

There was a slideshow prepared by the schools, CHIJ Toa Payoh, St. Margs, and Catholic High and it was a slideshow showing all the past pictures taken with the schools. Encore was great, but yeah teared sniffled a little. my nose was red hahaha. Thank You for the Music was enjoyable, with all of us singing to the tune, crying a little, moving to the groove. Wow, it was fantastic. Yeah, wow.

Yesterday was our last concert with Mr. Tan and I really really thank him. Thank you for bringing music into my life, thank you for letting me know more about band life and enjoying it. I have definitely enjoyed all my time in band and get the opportunity to make music. Once again, thank you for the music.

Today was our last practice before the concert, kinda sad, I will miss playing and practising the pieces, figuring how to play the semi-quavers and the low low low notes, but what I will miss most will be the practices with Mr. Tan.

Band camp was pretty fun, with section bonding, games and practices (:

hahaha, played charades during section bonding time, blueberry cowcake & men-toss (inside joke)! Audition went quite well yay, and I still can't forget the time we've spent during band camp. took many photos, failed jump shots, group photos with succesful & unsuccessful shots, full main band photo with us saying 'Polkaaaa' and 'Jerichoooo', band camp was great.

None of our juniors came, so it was the 7 of us and I realised each of us can make up a letter of the word 'Doubles' hahaha. Night practice was a refreshing one, and it was quite interesting and fun we did not have any night practice before, so it was cool yeah (: full run went well too gimmicckkks!

Concert's in 3 days it's going to be exciting!!!!

Ate dinner twice last night, once at home, the other at the Ubin Restaurant, the fried squid with salted egg is delicious! The squid and the egg just melts in your mouth, and it makes you feel happy (I don't know, that's what I feel) whoa, that time we ordered that dish twice, hahahahaha !!!

Bought new reed at IMM last Sunday, yayyyyy but it was very expensive. The happier part is that it is easier to blow, compared to the other reeds when I just seasoned them double yay (:

Band yesterday and we played really nicely, especially Jericho and Spanish Fever. The Victory part was superb and I could feel myself moving to the music. The feel was there and I'm really really happy. Spanish Fever and Spirit of Christmas were very good too! :D

wanted to wake up earlier these few days to make breakfast, haha, after seeing Nigella Express on the Discovery Travel & Living, I will really wanna try to cook (: It's kinda my favourite tv channel now, haha, that's alot to learn from the programmes, cooking!

The set pieces were here today, t o d a y :D I prefer the first overture, rhythms are not too difficult to handle, but the second sounds nicer hmmm, we will be getting our scores soon.

Sectionals & drills will be in less than 8 hours, I have to sleep soon.

I'm listening to Right Here, Right Now from HSM 3 and it has this feel when I went to swim at Sunway Lagoon resort, in Malaysia hahaha, really. I wanna go there again, the place is pretty awesome, with a humongous swimming pool & I'm not kidding. It's coooool :D there's this backstreet boys feel, yeah.

I shall be good and start doing my homework tomorrow, I made a promise to myself, do not procrastinate. I did consider what to take in JC and of course, what to do in the future too. I wanna take the science stream but I do have to study really hard, I guess, about 10x harder. If I do want to get into the dream jc, I'll have to start immediately.

Bought my textbooks (except for hcl) on saturday in Popular, and it cost a whopping $351, inclusive of jw's. in addition, it was real heavy. I have to clear my stuff in the cupboard to make way for my new textbooks.

The Seventh Night of July is a nice piece and it is worth listening and playing. We sight-read this last Friday and I was really excited hahaha. The tune's kinda stuck in my head now. I hope we'll be able to play this in concert or performance.

I've been watching discovery travel and living channel and channel 56 for ming zhong, but it's not good for me to stay up so late just to watch the replay when I have watched it before. I can't wait for band camp!

Barack Obama won :D I thought it would start early in the morning, I mean midnight, so I stayed up late to watch but the coverage only aired this morning. fell asleep in the end hahaha.

yesterday's the 31st October, halloween ! went out with Wan Yu, Wei Yan and Germaine for trick or treating. walked almost the entire coronation road west, and sixth ave. whooo, but it was pretty fun :D

hohoho, serene macs this morning at 8, but had difficulty waking up zzzzzz. I kept sleeping in the car :/

Band yesterday, I was so afraid I could not use my reed anymore as there was no sound when I played my bassoon, I soaked it a little while and it worked again (: sightread a few pieces, played the concert pieces, 29th November! :D

It's the holidays, and there's homework, I shall not slack anymore.

Pretty happy for my L1R5, but I should have done better for both languages (c5). We are returning it tomorrow, so I shall look it once through again (:

Tomorrow's the last day of school, it means that it is also the final day in 2e3. This class has been a great one, with awesomezzz friends and wonderful schoolmates. Also, not forgetting my section mates, haha. You all have been really great and I'm glad to get to know all of you.

Claymation today, we did our final product, but it is not fully edited yet. haha, I can't wait. It's cool.

Checking of Scripts part (II)!

It was really surprising, I didn't expect myself to get that mark though (esp. IH)

EOY was kinda a test, both mentally and physically for me. I was drained and exhausted from all the studying and revising, stressed myself to the extreme. I remembered making myself so stressed for home econs and felt rather moody. haha, I'm weird.

Band World today, reached Jurong East at around 1.35, met Shumian and we went to IMM. but, there was a series of unfortunate events, haha.

1. It started to rain when we just walked out of the mrt station
2. The rain began to pour even heavier when we were walking (without umbrella)
3. We were drenched and Shumian's shoes were sandy
4. It stopped when we went into IMM. zzzzzzzzZZZ
5. Hoping that the rain would stop, we decided to walk out to Band World, which was at the other side of the building
6. It rained again. gahgahgahgah
7. Called Band World, knocked on the door, nobody answered
8. Since it had no response, we decided to go back to the shopping centre and wait
9. Tried calling Band World again, they picked up the phone, but they said that it was closed -_-

perhaps, we will go back next week, try our luck yeah (:

Checking of scripts was ok (I guess). We got back our languages, mathematics and home econs papers, and I would say that it is fairly done, but there's lots of room for improvement.

Results for english was quite expected. I was hoping for a pass, really, but I am really glad that I was able to get that mark. Chinese was ok. Mathematics, just 1 mark... (!!) Home econs was (:

This is only part I, there will be more coming in on Monday.

Home econs today, I didn't have enough time to finish. !!!. I was left with 1 essay question and only started the part b with less than 5 mins to finish. zzzzz, plus I spotted a mistake and I knew the answer but I couldn't change it cos it was time's up. Well, something's off my mind now, I'm glad that eoy is over.

It feels weird to go home at 9, when the adults to go work, and I'm now at home hmmm. Discovery channel is good (:

I feel tired, hmm. oh weeelll, english eoy's in 4 days time. screams.

I found some pictures which were taken a long time ago. Haha, there's CNY photos, taiwan trip, primary 6 pictures too (: Perhaps I will post them someday. Oh yeah, I've cut my hair. I look alot like JW (from the back view).

Rubber Ducky! We wore out ponchos and orange socks, and settled the gimmicks and the piece. The actual performance was kinda our first time playing together. It's ok that we didn't win.

Toon Kiat's birthday was on Saturday too, happy 1st birthday my little cousin! Today is also Shanxi and Cassandra's birthday, happy birthday :D

SMSB!

After today's chapel, we (comm) went down to the basement to decorate the space, it is really really beautiful to look at the glow sticks, and it spells Mr Tan! And there's a heart shape at the door, glee (:

The boards are pretttyyyy. Also, it is made up of glow sticks, haha, I'm loving them now. We tried to see the basement when the lights were off, when we walked down the stairs, I had to hold the sides and I could not see if I reached the ground, haa. The bear is cute (:

Haha, we guarded the door, and wanted to ask him questions, for example, if he knew who was who (between Jw and me), but we didn't. We knew that Mr Tan was here when they started screaming and I ran to the space. He saw the boards, we sang the birthday song, gave him the bear and cards from all sections. We wanted to play the birthday song!

Practiced Jericho, played the piece for year end concert, and we proceeded with the cutting of cake. Oh yeah, some of the sec 4s came too. We sang the birthday song and we went really high!

Moved stands and packed instruments, went home, slept till 8, and here I am :D

Yay! Singapore's table tennis team won the Silver Medal from the Beijing 2008 Olympics :D

They have worked hard and were determined to get a medal, and they really did it! I am really happy for them. Congratsss!

Hah, I'm back.

2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony was awesome, yeah, I watched till midnight. I've been watching the matches (gymnastics, judo, beach v.b., volleyball, synch. diving etc.) The last olympics was held in Athens, therefore I didn't watch the matches. Different timezone, so they were competing when we were asleep.

Whoa, next week will again be a busy week for me, tests, and more homework. Bye bye.

6J`06 Class Gathering on Sunday! We went to East Coast Park to cycle, and talk :D Went to Parkway Parade to meet Wan Yu, Wei Yan and Germaine, then we walked the overhead bridge to wait for Jie Yang. It was rather comical cos we wanted to walk to the other side of the road, however, we decided to wait for him on the overhead bridge, and walk down again. Haha.

I've not seen them for ages, and they grew so fast! Gah, I'm so short ): Yup, and we cycled while searching for Kenneth. Played on the beach, took photos, and talked C: It was great to see them again.

I was really tired, after I reached home, but it was a wonderful day! (:

Cluster Arts' Festival 2008

St. Mary's and Hale School from Australia came to St. Margs, and we had an exchange with them :D It was fruitful and it was my first time having an exchange, so I was rather nervous, yet excited.

Today was the actual performance day, yesterday was the exchange and rehearsal. It was great, and the feeling was there :D

There was ups and downs in these 14 years, I was once upset, and once happy and grateful. I've grown up and it's time for me to step up. I'll learn to be more responsible and will not let you all down (:

There was tuition this morning, learnt Sets. I didn't really understand, but gradually, the concept was quite easy to learn C:

I'll be 14 soon. Time really flies, I was once in Nanyang, later, I graduated. In a few years' time, I will graduate and leave St. Margs ): I will and always remember all the good times I had in my alma maters, really :D Band has already been part of my life, and all the friends and experiences, I truly appreciate it!

6J`06, I will always, always remember you guys! Even though we're studying in our secondary schools, we will meet up someday :D The times we had, the obstacles we faced, graduation day, our very first class gathering, CGs for birthdays and movie outings. I had a wonderful time with you all!

Doubles! Haha, I've known you all for 1 year plus. During this one year, it was great having sectionals with all of you:D We had fun during section outings, dinners, breaks after sectionals and chats, I'll never forget that! Seniors, thank you for all the guidance and support. Although we may not have sectionals and practices with you all now, we hope you all will come back! (:

I have many people to thank, and the list is endless. I have spent my 14 years fruitfully and I'm glad that I met you all. You all have brighten my life. It was Petathon, and all of us went back to school. The pets were all so adorable! I want to get a dog, someday C:
There was the funfair/ carnival in the canteen and the 1st floor's linkway. I wanted to make a badge with 'I Love Band', but the machine could not work, so yeah...
Bubble Tea! They bought the tea from Sweet Talk, yay (: Got the Passionfruit flavour, I would say it was not bad, but there were not many pearls in the drink.

Song dedications! I wanted to make a song dedication, but didn't in the end. There was one from anonymous and she dedicated the song to all band members :D Thanks! They played songs ranging from Coldplay to Avril Lavigne.

SECTION OUTING WAS FUNNNNN!:D

As we had a Surprise planned, I woke up at 6am
[Just to get ready (:]
I couldn't sleep the night before
HAHA!

Rushed down to Bishan MRT Station
I waited for Bus 54 to come, it took ages just to reach):
Then took MRT with Jin-Ni, Yi En and Cassandra to Choa Chu Kang
Clare didn't made it in time, so she took the other train
Chatted, discussed during the journey

Finally, we reached Choa Chu Kang.
Later, we took LRT to Senja
We took the wrong way My fault (SORRY!)
Met Shumian there, walked to Claire's house
Her siblings are so cute!
Prepared the surprised cake!:D

Later, Jin-Ni, Yi En and I went down to Bukit Panjang Plaza to meet them
We walked rounds, and rounds. Then headed back to Claire's house
Made final touch up to the cake:D
While Cassandra and Claire went to pick them up, we discussed how to present the cake (:

Denise, Wan Sing and Jessica arrived later:D
Yi En and Jin-Ni kept snapping photos

So, we waited down there

Met my section in the canteen

Moved the instruments down to the lorry and buses
Sat with my section mates (:
The rain got heavier, and heavier. It was worst when we arrived at VCH.
All of us got quite wet, but some was even wetter ): I hope you all will not catch a cold!
Reached VCH at 3. Moved instruments, set up and settled down by 3.30pm
Rehearsed once through, sound check.
Yup:D

It was Alumni Band's turn to rehearse after us
Saw many seniors, and heard Wan Sing played her solo:D
Then String's turn; I saw En Ci!

Dinner at 5.45, or perhaps 6pm
I almost choked ._.

My nervousness got pretty bad when it was about 7.10pm
When we went up stage, there were so many people down there

Quite happy, as it was almost full house (:

The bell rang [It was practically buzzinggggg]

I could feel my face flushed, I WAS NERVOUS ):

It was our day, our concert
We performed our very best.
However, I felt that time passed really quickly

Band practice yesterday and today was absolutely funny (:
Yesterday, Sec 4s did not come as they had the Study Skills Camp with Dr. Adam Khoo
So, it was quite empty
However, the learning process was funny. Mr. Tan let some girls to try conducting the Band. Also, Mr. Tan said that he shall change his job and become Dr. Adam Tan.
Haha:D

Today!
Although Sec 4s had Study Skills Camp, they came for practice!:D
We did our last full run, we sounded better!
And today, it was the last practice with the Sec 4s ):

It was quite a short/ tiring day.

It's going to be Full House:D

It was cancelled due to the rain

Left home at 6.45am
Thought that I would be early
I WAS WRONG
I left some stuff at home, so I had to ask mum to drive me back
Wasted 10 mins
Reached Bishan Stadium at 7.07am
Chiong-ed all the way in
Made it in time for attendance taking :D

While the monitresses were taking attendance
It started to drizzle
Later, it worsen, so we had to assemble on the Grand Stand, according to our houses

Practiced cheers for 30 mins
Then due to the drizzle, we were dismissed

OH YEAH
Almost the whole student body of St Margs were in Junction 8
It was rather funny to see all of us walking to J8, with our coloured house t-shirts:D

I just came back from school, Band!:D
I'm feeling very sweaty and stinky):

Today, after completing my artwork (halfway!), we went with Ms Karen to the War Memorial Ceremony.
From 2/3, Jin-Ni and I went.
The atmosphere was solemn
There were quite a number of people, but of course, due to space limitation, the schools could only send a few representative.
There were total of 1000+ students, teachers, and guests

It was an experience
The ceremony started late
And it ended at 10am

Returned to school, had recess, resumed class

Stayed back for self-practice
Vacuum Cleaner!

SMSS invited a Chinese Orchestra troupe from China
They were professional, I would say.

Modern Dance, Indian Dance, and Fusion Dance from the Chinese Dance, Indian Dance, Malay Dance.
Quite cool:D

There's a Malay Dance Instructor singing/ dancing

Kind of comical, but his dancing was quite nice

School was dismissed at 9.30am
Went to Serene with Wei Yan, En Ci, Priscilla, Jing Wen and Clare
MacDonalds!

Later, we visited Nanyang.

We were dismissed from school at 8.30am.
Weird huh:/

It was at Assembly time
Then Mrs Tan came up to announce that the burst water pipe was worse than thought, and due to hygiene purposes, we all had to go home.

I was shocked luh!
I only once remembered that we had to go home/ evacuate to the nearest place when the fire broke out in Nanyang Campus 2. I didn't expect that we were suppose to go Home.
Wow.

Also, all CCAs were cancelled
THERE WAS NO BAND! ):

I am sad.

After Assembly,
Went back to class to call our parents to inform them about the situation.
